• February, March and April SSMT Scriptures

    I have found myself starting to lag in my Scripture memorisation at only 3 months in. My solution? Put it out on the internet to take on a greater feeling of accountability and also to create images to help cement them in my brain more. Here are my verses from February, March and the first one of April. I have been working on small passages, splitting them up to be a verse each fortnight.     We are fast heading through the first month of 2015. I am participating in the Siesta Scripture Memory Team this year, which involves choosing a new Scripture to memorise on the first and fifteenth of each month. You get to choose your own Scriptures so that they are meaningful to you. Once a month I will share the verses I am memorising and how they are speaking to me. Relying on my own strength to try to do all I feel called to has been a huge downfall of mine. God’s strength is available to me if I choose to access it. I love that this verse reminds me that…

    How did we suddenly get to the last couple of days of the year??!! My focus on Advent this year resulted in the coming New Year sneaking up on me. I’ve seen a few blog posts and mentions around social media that started my thought processes in that direction. This morning I had the mental space to pull those thoughts together and spend a bit of time in prayer.
