    Advent has officially begun for another year. In the midst of an overflowing brain and a full season, I am so thankful that I have given myself and my family the gift of simplicity. Advent is not meant to be a burden or something else to add to an already crowded to-do list. What is it about our human nature that draws us to make it that?     This is your invitation to pause- really pause. Take a breath. Let it out slowly. How often do we allow ourselves to do that? I have times of doing well with this and then I forget. I fill up those little moments that could be pauses with social media, noise or little busy odd jobs. It takes so much intention and focus to build pause into our days.
